Much research has been done on the various applications of avocado oil in the food and skincare industry.  This zesty peppermint soap bar truly is a beautiful soap.  Suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.

Nourish Naturally handmade soaps are all made in small batches using the cold process method. Using the traditional cold process method of soapmaking creates a mild soap that retains the natural glycerin.  Glycerin is a humectant (attracts moisture to the skin) and generally removed during commercial soapmaking.   It’s the natural glycerin in our handmade soaps that help to keep your skin soft and pampered.

Note: Please keep your handmade soap well drained between use.  A soap dish with good drainage will help give your soap a longer life.

Made with nourishing olive, coconut and macadamia oils and added oatmeal and activated charcoal.  Scented with essential oils of lavender, tea tree, peppermint and rosemary.  All well known for their antibacterial properties.  Activated charcoal also helps to draw out toxins and well known for its antibacterial properties. Oatmeal also works as a natural cleanser and gently exfoliates the dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling soft and refreshed.

On top of all this it also smells divine!

Why Activated Charcoal in a face soap?

Researchers have reported that activated charcoal can help draw micro-particles, such as dirt, dust, chemicals, toxins, and bacteria, to the surface of the skin, hence making them easier to remove.

Watch the video below to see the process for making this soap though I no longer add the calendula flowers to the top.  While nice aesthetically i’ve found most people would prefer a soap without all the bits on top for their every day use.
