About Our Products
We use the cold process method of soap making which involves mixing sodium hydroxide with water to make lye. The lye is then added to vegetable oils along with other additives such as essential oils, mineral clays and botanicals.
ALL of our products are made right here at our home at Point Lookout on beautiful North Stradbroke Island.
We use natural ingredients as much as we can, organic where it is practical to do so and source within Australia where possible. We use only pure essential oils to scent our products and use only natural mineral clays for colour and botanicals as additives. See our Ingredients List for full details.
Yes we do. We use goats milk, honey and beeswax in a number of our soaps. Please check the ingredients list shown on each product page if this may be an issue for you.
No, we’ve always been more than happy to test on our friends, family and other enthusiastic volunteers who are always happy to try any new products.
Everyone is different however we have many customers using our products who have sensitive skin. Some people have not been able to use commercial soaps due to the use of synthetic ingredients however they have been able to use our soap. It is always best to do a small test patch before using any product if you do have sensitive skin or have allergies.
